Lovely little spot. We Camped here overnight on the last weekend of school holidays. We didn't have a booking but rang ahead and were told we could walk in and would get a spot. They allow a limited number of last minute campers in the grassy day picnic area (no allocated spots), but tents can only be set up between 6 pm and 9 am and strictly no fires. The area is covered in roo poo :-)
The campsite has drinking water and good facilities. The place is teeming with bright coloured parrots, particularly at sunrise and sunset. And lots of roos that are so tame it's a little scary! (We woke at dawn to find a humungus roo grazing right beside our tent with its tail swishing into the side of our tent.)
Personally, the walk in camping area looked a lot nicer (grassy, closer to the beach) than the proper campsites, so it's a nice spot to halt for an overnighter.
Great little spot with lots to enjoy. Def worth another visit.
