Hi Bianca
Sorry pets are not allowed into National Parks, for the protection of the delicate environment. Generally pets are welcome in campsites in State Forests and council campsites.
Happy camping
Matt :)

hi
i did my bronze duke of edinborough qualifying trip around this area. good if you are looking to canoe along the shoalhaven as their is easy acess to the river. all in all, a nice open campsite, appreciated the cover the trees gave in the middle of winter.
would definetely reccommend to anyone thinking of hiking in the Nowra area.

I assume this is near Grafton, and not the Illaroo Camping area at Nowra? Otherwise I am very confused...

Is it on the beach? And also, do you book, or can you just arrive and pull up anywhere? :)

Hi Leanne
It is a short walk to the beach, but you are not camping on the sand. I believe the campsite is still based on first come first served - no bookings.
Happy camping
Matt :)
