Bouddi National Park is south east of Woy Woy and encompasses the Box Head headland. Bouddi NP has numerous secluded beaches and some great surf beaches too. The park also offers fantastic coastal walking with views out from the tall headlands over Broken Bay, Woy Woy and the South Pacific Ocean. Bouddi NP also boasts one of the first marine extensions in NSW, with a 300ha protection zone out of Maitland Bay for the marine life. The mosquitoes in Bouddi NP can be fierce so it might be an idea to pack insect repellent.

Is this a safe campsite for few ladies to camp at for a weekend? IS the beach safe to swim in at most times?

Hi Janice, this is a tough question to answer. I guess there is no such thing as a safe anything, you need to consider risks and manage them. This is a fairly popular but small campsite. with good facilities and a few access points. The beach is unpatrolled and again fairly popular with people surfing.
Hope that helps

Is it possible to arrive at the beach via boat to unload the camping gear?

I imagine a small boat (tender) could unload gear here. I have not tried, it is a small beach so it would be very weather dependent. I suggest you chat with the NPWS staff when you book the campsite, to make sure they are OK with the boat. (not sure what you mean by offshore resident, but obviously there are requirements to clear customs and immigration before landing anywhere in Australia)
Happy camping
Matt :)

Hi Georgia - it is popular - but the number of campsites is limited by bookings so it does not get overcrowded as such. Worth calling NPWS and seeing if there is a place available and ask how many of the campsites are booked already - could already booked up.
