A nice and quite campsite but the fees are a bit steep.

We cammped here for 5 days after Christmas 2011.

Minimal facilities, electric BBQ and non flush loos.

The river was fresh, fast running and cold.

The wild life was plentiful from Tawny frog mouth owls to extremely friendly Blue Wrens.

The sites were grassy however leeches were around the campsites that had leaves on the ground.

Overall it was a very relaxing place where the Lyre birds and the fireflies were a highlight for me personally.

Well worth the 28klms of fairly good dirt road and crossing the causeways in my 2wd car was fine however I would watch the weather for rain in case one got rained in. I don't think it would be too much of a problem if you had a 4wd.

We spent a few days camping and walking there. One of my favourite places.
